At the heart of this song are the remarkable figures who shaped that era, particularly the poet, pacifist, and activist, Eva Gore Booth, and the women who played a pivotal role in the revolution. The “Songs from the Boxroom” series has been a profoundly creative period in Mike’s life, producing not only beautiful songs but also a few poems and even a short film in collaboration with Aldoc and artist Mick O Dea titled “The Ballad of The Crimson Warrior.”
