20-year-old singer-songwriter Bea and her Business shares new track ‘Good Things’ – out now

April 26, 2024

Bea and her Business is just getting started, but the 20-year-old singer-songwriter is already making waves in the UK and beyond. After achieving over 50 million streams for her debut EP ‘Introverted Extrovert’, her next releases ‘Me Against My Head’ and ‘WOW!’ continued to accelerate her rising status. Now Bea takes her next step by sharing the new track ‘Good Things’.

With ‘Good Things’, Bea adds a fresh pop angle to her super charismatic vocals following the vulnerable piano ballad ‘Me Against My Head’ and the fervent funk of ‘WOW!’. Her lyrics explore a realisation that many people experience in young adulthood – sometimes you need to take the leap to make good things happen for yourself rather than waiting and wallowing in despair.

Bea says, “I wrote this at a time when I could not get any more single. All my friends were in long-term relationships, I on the other hand… let’s just say it wasn’t looking good! Everyone kept saying ‘good things come to those who wait’ or ‘it’ll come when you’re least expecting it.’ But after 19 years of waiting, I strongly disagreed with that! This song is a reminder to never wait for anyone or anything. It’s your world and they’re just living in it, remember that. YOU JUST GOTTA GO OUT AND GET ‘EM!”

Influenced by poetry, especially Kate Bingham and Leonard Cohen, and painstakingly collated mood boards, Bea has been writing songs since childhood. Her debut single ‘Born To Be Alive’ made a huge impact, landed her first Radio 1 airplay, and even raced up the Nordic charts, while the ‘Introverted Extrovert’ EP cemented her reputation as an artist to watch. Her recent singles have fired up her following at TikTok to 1.6 million with 40 million likes, while ‘WOW!’ heighted her international following as it earned radio support in all key markets across Europe.

Yet while her growing online following is undeniable, she is quickly establishing an IRL fanbase too. Her first public performance came in front of a huge festival audience of 70,000 people in Oslo in 2023. Bea has also just completed her first full European headline tour, where strong demand for tickets resulted in her London Lafayette and Cologne dates selling out weeks in advance while Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin followed.
