After a successful 2023, Ciara Lawless, the Celtic songbird, hailing from Ireland, starts on a strong note by releasing her new pop single “No Rain, No Flowers” on April 12th, from her debut album, released today.
“No Rain, No Flowers” was written by LA-based Myah Marie, who has worked with Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, Lil Wayne, and Selena Gomez, alongside Irish songwriter Oisin Browne.
Ciara describes the song as “a catchy, upbeat, fun pop song about resilience, hope, and growth in the face of adversity.”
Ciara’s musical journey began at a young age when she started taking classes in acting and singing. Later, she developed an interest in classical and opera, training at the Academy of Music in Tullamore, where she also competed in national and international competitions. While some singers hone their skills while climbing the music ladder, Ciara earned her singing stripes as a funeral singer, something she is very proud and honoured to do. Showing a steady rise on the music scene, Ciara Lawless is making waves after a successful run on the festival circuit, coupled with the release of her first four singles. Ciara has not only honed her stage presence but has also become known for her soulful voice and signature flower head crowns, catching the eyes of festival-goers.

Ciara will be dropping a music video with “No Rain, No Flowers’ on the 12th April, as well as performing at ‘The Artist Showcase’ in Fibber Magees, Dublin on the 2nd May and at the Bealtaine Fire Festival at The Hill of Uisneach, Co Westmeath on the 11th May.
