Gavin Murphy has today announced the release of his new single “Embrace The Stars”
Speaking about the new single Gavin says ““Embrace the Stars is about throwing caution to the wind and doing something exciting with someone special…even on the spur of the moment and living life as if there is no tomorrow…”
The new single was released on Wednesday 9th March 2022.
His previous singles “Alive” and “The Sound of Heartbreak” were both play listed on RTÉ Radio 1. In June 2020 Gavin’s debut album ‘45 RPM (Replay Past Memories)’ was made RTÉ Radio 1 Album of the Week.
Living on Ireland’s north-west coast, Gavin Murphy hails from Dublin’s North Side. His debut album ‘45 RPM (Replay Past Memories)’ was recorded and produced by Gavin in his home studio in Sligo.
Gavin is currently a music tutor with Music Generation in Sligo.
Working with Gavin on his new single was producer Ger McDonnell (U2, Sinead O’Connor, The Cure)) along with Paul Byrne on drums Keelan Murphy on Keyboards and Sarah Crummy on backing vocals.
