Fia Rua set to release “The Sky Went Low And The Sea Went High” album
Alt-punk-folk troubadour Fia Rua releases his 3rd album “The Sky Went Low And The Sea Went High” in Bewleys Theatre Dublin this Saturday.
The album deals with themes like masculinity, global warming and his adopted city of Galway. The songs play with humour and darkness, life and death with a folk-punk energy that drives the album along.
His last album Falling Time was acclaimed in reviews and blogs all over the world. He and his fellow Urchin Collective artists have performed nationally as well as tours in mainland Europe where Fia Rua has acquired a notable following. The new album was made in Galway with local producer/artist Willow Sea.
