“In ‘Melting’ I explore the dynamics of family relationships and the pressure to conform. The song touches on the struggle of not meeting familial expectations and how this generates an internal conflict: maintaining your individuality versus succumbing to societal norms. Personally, I love listening to emotional Afrobeats and I thought it would be interesting to experiment the contrast of uptempo Afro beats in a melancholic song”.
