Dublin artist Eva Campbell has been busy. Having been selected by Hot Press for their #Hotfor2022 list, Eva has since been recording more of her own original music and collaborating on tracks with Cork-based musician James Mulcahy. She was crowned Spin1038’s winner and selected for the Grand Finale of Irish Music Month’s ‘A New Local Hero’ 2023, in association with Hot Press and IBI.
After getting to the Knockout stages of The Voice UK 2019 and focusing on songwriting over lockdown, Eva released her debut single ‘Echo’ in October 2021. The track went straight to Number 1 on the Irish iTunes Top 100 & Pop Charts, and her second single ‘Stay’ also went to Number 1 on iTunes – making it into the Top 20 Irish Homegrown Charts to boot!
Fresh out of the studio again with double Grammy-nominated producer Billy Farrell and talented co-producer Brian McGrane – Eva is back at it with this new antibullying anthem ‘People’, which is set to release on all platforms on Friday 14th April. Written from the heart, it is a song about sharing and overcoming the effects of bullying – and recognising that it is not okay to be a bystander to injustice.
