After a break of three years and now in its new venue, Michael O Gorman’s, ‘The Monks’ Thurles, WHISTLE THIS is back again and looking forward to more shared magic moments with live original songs, music and poetry with the support of our audiences and thanks to our new venue.

A monthly music showcase/platform, which has been running now in Thurles for over seven years. With the support of our appreciative audiences, and of course the wonderful musicians and writers that channel the magic into shared moments with a new song or performance. Whistle This continues to provide a space and platform for all genres of contemporary songwriters, whether it’s a band, singer/ songwriters, or poets, whether experienced, or those who need to gain that experience in a positive and supportive way. All will find a warm welcome, and a chance to meet with fellow writers and performers. It’s a joy to watch new, young and not so young, writers and musicians grow in confidence in the art and craft of songwriting and performance.
