The seeds of ‘Together We Are Stronger’ were sown when Francie received a photo of a blown out apartment in Ukraine where everything was destroyed, except a guitar. Commenting on the photo as ‘a symbol of hope’, a message received back included the line “together we are stronger”.
A few days later RTE broadcast a Late Late Show, specially dedicated to the Ukrainian crisis to raise vital funds for the people affected by the Russian invasion. One of the Ukrainian guests finished his heartfelt story by saying together we are stronger. From hearing the line again, the seeds of this song started to grow.
The single features Vivienne Boucherat & Chris White from The Zombies, Swiss writer/producer/musician Dom Torche and Matt Kelleghan from the legendary Moving Hearts.
The song has just been recorded in Ukrainian by Alexandra Lisnyak from ‘The Voice Of Ukraine’, a video is currently being filmed in Ukraine and is due for release in June.
