After an extensive break, The Songwriting Collective (TSC) is resuming its Monthly Songwriting Workshops on Wednesday 20th March from 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm at IMRO HQ followed by a presentation of co-writes and other self-penned songs in The 51 Bar on nearby Haddington Road.
Each workshop provides an opportunity to showcase songs you have written, to discuss/explore the craft of songwriting and to co-write and receive detailed feedback. In addition, from time to time TSC have input from relevant specialists on topics of interest. Ideally, you should bring along your musical instrument but it is not essential.
The Songwriting Collective also hosts a fortnightly Open Mic in The 51 Bar where you can improve your performance skills.
The workshops are facilitated by Tony Bardon (tonybardon.com) who has extensive experience of running workshops in Ireland and in Europe, as a result of his involvement with EU-funded music projects and veteran Singer/Songwriter Colm Jackson (https://www.facebook.com/colmjacksonmusic).
