Kicking off the series, Irish singer Mary Coughlan will headline 7th October. She will perform songs from her latest album ‘Life Stories’ which went straight to number 1 on the iTunes chart. With amazing reviews including a four-star rating in Business Post, Sunday Times, and Irish Times. Support comes from Roo Elizabeth.
On Friday, 8th October is Irish punk band Paranoid Visions with special guests The Nilz. Appeared on the East and West coasts of America, Canada, Japan, and all over Europe at headline shows and performing at some of the biggest festivals in the world (Rebellion, Riot Fest, Punk Rock Bowling, ’77 Fest, Amnesia to name but a few).
Sack is a Dublin-based 5-piece band comprising Martin McCann on vocals, John Brereton (guitar), Tony Brereton (drums) Derek Lee (bass) and Ken Haughton (guitar). The band celebrated their brand-new single ‘What A Way To Live’ last month which is already making waves at Irish Radio. Sack will perform a special show on Saturday, October, 9th with special guests The Pale. The Pale also returns with a brand-new single entitled ‘Dog For Life’. This will be the first track taken from the band’s first-ever best of compilation album entitled ‘Paleanthology’, due for release 22nd October.
Finally, on Sunday, 10th October, A Lazarus Soul will perform live at Opium Rooms with special guests Zeztra. 2019 saw the release of their fifth album ‘The D They Put Between The R & L’, it brought them to universal acclaim. With a more Irish folk influence than its post punk predecessors, it was an album the nation took to its heart. Join them in this special performance in Opium Rooms.
