When envisioning the future of Alternative R&B, one name stands out — Plantain Papi, a Nigerian-born, Ireland-raised producer and songwriter. Known for masterfully navigating the intersection of hip-hop, garage, and R&B, within the vibrant tapestry of afrobeats, Plantain Papi introduces ‘1942’ as a preview to his highly anticipated debut album ‘Still Healing’.
