Irish singer and emerging artist Jennifer Lyons is happy to present her new single and anthem ‘Run The Wild’, out on all digital streaming platforms from 8 April 2022.
Jennifer herself is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Cork, performing earthy and explosive music to audiences everywhere. Effortlessly blending ethereal, folk, and contemporary influences into one – Jennifer’s voice emits passions and emotion in a unique husky tone.
Jennifer says about the song: “The song came to me in the Summer of 2021, after many years moving around with music and living in different places. I hadn’t played a gig in a year and had started to re-imagine my life without music – basically a more balanced lifestyle.
Essentially, this led to a whole new chapter in my life; a change in career, settled down a bit. However, deep down I felt stagnant and disconnected from my deeper self which inspired me to write Run The Wild – airing out the inner conflict we experience when faced with life decisions.”
‘Run The Wild’ is Jennifer’s first single off her highly anticipated album also titled Run The Wild. Produced and engineered in Monique Studios in Cork with the musical input and stylings of John Ryan, Christian Best and Darragh Keary. Run The Wild will be available from Friday, 8 April.
