The Hopeful Kind are a Dublin based indie band fronted by Ruth Teeling from Meath and Cara Ward from Donegal. Both met while studying in Dublin Music college BIMM.
The Hopeful Kind are back with their sophomore single, The Right Way coming May 10th. The Right Way follows a particular kind of heartache when love is strong and present yet the future becomes uncertain. And for whatever the underlying truth is; if the heart is to break, then ‘do it a little bit soft, do it a little bit slow’.
Laced with The Hopeful Kind’s signature upbeat melodies and catchy hooks, and entwined with bittersweet lyrics. The Right Way, will move even the most stoic of listeners. Recorded by the talented Post – Party frontman, Keelan Reilly ( Love You Everyday, Negative Energy) and mixed/mastered by the infamous Beardfire Studios (AILSHA, The Dublin City Rounders, TYG).
The Right Way is the follow up single of The Hopeful Kind, with their debut song ‘Wherever You Go'( February 23rd 2024), receiving an incredible reception from radio stations around Ireland, having amassed close to 4k streams since its release.
