For 20 years, Other Voices has been bringing the world’s most exciting musicians together for a shared celebration of creativity, collaboration and culture. Part festival, part broadcast and part cultural happening, their forward thinking approach to music has brought indescribable experiences to both artists and fans alike.
This limited edition exhibition, created in collaboration with The Tenth Man and Hen’s Teeth, marks the 20 year anniversary of Other Voices. 20 Irish painters, designers, photographers and illustrators were invited to each create a piece of art based on some of the most iconic lyrics performed on Other Voices stages.
Head of Development at Other Voices Molly King said: “To be able to collaborate with our pals at The Tenth Man and Hen’s Teeth with such a talented array of artists and enter into the world of art for the first time has been an absolute joy and a pleasure. Musicians and artists give us a sense of who we are. Our job is to get out of their way, and let them do just that. Enjoy the show / Bain sult as <3 “
Eric Davidson, The Tenth Man said: “It was an honour to work alongside an institution like Other Voices. They’ve changed and accelerated Irish culture in so many ways over the past two decades, and co-curating this exhibition with their team and the Hen’s Teeth crew has been a fascinating way to re-familiarise ourselves with the sheer scale of what they’ve achieved. We’re also super proud of the painters, illustrators and photographers who worked on the project and we feel like it’s a visual representation of the diverse range of talent on this island.”
The physical exhibition will take place in Hen’s Teeth from 16th – 21st November and available online from 16th – 26th November via hensteethstore.com
