Ahead of joining Paul Brady on his Irish Tour, Irish singer/songwriter Davie Furey is set to release his new single, Stargazer, on the 7th April 2023. Written by Davie Furey, it is produced, mixed and mastered by Martin Quinn in JAM Studios. It is his third single taken from a collection of songs being recorded for a new album, which is set for release in 2023. Previous releases, Downtown Parade reached number 2 in iTunes Rock Charts in 2022 and History, reached number 1 on the iTunes rock charts earlier in 2022. Stargazer also includes the stunning vocals of Navan singer/songwriter Joy Booth.
Davie Furey – “It’s funny how songs show themselves only when they are ready. I came across the lyrics for Stargazer whilst going through my old songwriting notes. Clearly, the song is a bit of recluse but it felt ready to show itself to those who would listen now. We reconnected, I gave it a little bit of a pampering and here we are. I hope you enjoy it.”
