BENJAMYN and Aran Sheehy team up for a remix of ‘Flow-State’

April 28, 2023

Ben Hogan (aka BENJAMYN) is a Dublin based singer-songwriter and electronic music producer creating his own blend of indie, dance, and electronica.

The 28 year old multi-instrumentalist has been performing since he was a child, experimenting with musical styles ranging from indie rock and acoustic folk to funk and hip hop – and eventually synthesising into the electronic style that he calls his own today. He obsesses over combing electronic and organic sounds.

2023 has seen BENJAMYN release his debut album ‘FLOW’ – which has been championed by 2FM’s Jenny Greene, adding to Ben’s impressive list of Irish and international music media accreditations.

Aran Sheehy is an artist and electronic musician from Dublin.
His 2022 debut single ‘Burn,’ a collaboration with AILSHA, went to number 1 in the iTunes Electronic Charts, and his follow up Mandala has seen endorsements from legends of the electronic music scene such as Sasha and Job Jobse (who frequently plays it at his residencies in Berghain nightclub in Berlin)

Music written, recorded, and produced by Aran has been featured on platforms such as RTÉ, Hot Press, iHeartRadio, SBS Australia, SpaceAmbient (over 100,000 subscribers) and The Psychedelic Muse (over 250,000 subscribers)

Aran’s music has also gained hundreds of thousands of streams on Spotify and other platforms.

In the words of Aran Sheehy:

‘I am so happy to announce the release of my remix of BENJAMYN’S single ‘Flow-State.’ This was my favourite electronic song of 2022 bar none, so you can imagine my joy when I approached Ben about getting the opportunity to work on this and getting his approval.

I feel this remix is the perfect juxtaposition of our contrasting electronic styles, meshing Ben’s beautiful, organic house with my more raw, analogue techno. I had so much fun making this, and you can bet that this will just be the start of much more to come from BENJAMYN and myself!’
