Killarney singer Ben Quinlan has shared a heartfelt single ’24/7′, released on 14th February.
Ben began singing at a young age, performing in musical theatre productions including RTE Talent Show ‘Ice Star Search’. In 2012 he played a main role in ‘Titanic The Musical’ 100th Anniversary that was showcased in the INEC Arena.
In 2014 Ben competed in the X Factor. He was the last finalist in the boys category that made it to the last stage of Bootcamp. Ben performed his song ‘Believe in Yourself’ at Wembley Arena to a standing ovation from all four judges and over five thousand people in attendance.
In 2019 he won Ireland’s Alternative Eurovision with his original song ‘Magical’.
For the track, 24/7 Ben recorded at Clay Castle Recording Studios. Guitar on the track comes courtesy of Kit MacGafraidhe and John Burke (who also c0-produced the song). Drums on the track come courtesy of Dave Usher, who has recorded with many successful artists including David Bowie.
Speaking of the song’s inspiration Ben says “this song is about the finding your soul mate and being with your soul mate through difficult times”
