Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy

A week-long Summer school of Irish traditional music, song and dance. It provides tuition on uilleann pipes, whistle, flute, fiddle, concertina, button accordion, banjo, harmonica and harp; workshops on set dancing old-style step dancing and Connemara sean-nós dance; workshops on the art of traditional song in Irish and English song traditions and a week-long foundation course on the historical and cultural background to the evolution of the Irish traditional music heritage. The classes and workshops are complemented by daily lectures, recitals, concert, céillithe and organised sessions.

The workshops will be held in multiple venues throughout Milltown Malbay, Co. Clare.
