The Release Playbook: 2-Part Session

Music Ally has developed ‘The Release Playbook’ to help artists and their teams understand the different elements of a successful release set up and execution. The sessions are designed to walk you through key elements of a pre-release campaign and  what to implement on release day in order to grow an artist’s fanbase and drive engagement. They also offer useful checklists, examples and case studies.

 

Part 2 – Release Playbook: Release Day

In this session of Music Ally’s Release Playbook series, you will learn about key activities and best practices you should undertake on release day in order to promote your latest release This will start with a checklist of things you should do on the day of release. Next you’ll get to grips with some best practices for creating release assets which can be used to promote your new release on different platforms. This will be followed by looking at key paid advertising steps to consider when marketing your latest release across platforms like Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

Marlen Huellbrock

Marlen heads up Music Ally’s Marketing Services department, supporting management and label clients in all things digital marketing. She helps clients implement impactful social and streaming campaigns while exploring emerging technologies and tools. Marlen is also part of Music Ally’s Training team, where she develops and delivers digital marketing training to a wide range of industry clients such as members of the MMF and BPI. Before joining Music Ally, Marlen worked within Universal Music’s brand partnerships team in Germany and Switzerland and completed an MA in Music Business Management at the University of Westminster.
