Niall Toner has released a video for ‘Million Dollar Bill’, taken from his Pinecastle album, Onwards and Upwards. The video tells the story of a man who inherits a box of Cheroots, a pair of Cowboy Boots, and a Million Dollar Bill, which he finds very difficult to change.
Niall will be releasing three videos during the Summer (July, August and September) the first of which is available to view below. The song was written by Niall and inspired by an old B/W movie starring Gregory Peck, called the Million Pound Note.
The video for ‘Way of a Wanderer’ will be launched in August, and September will see the release of the video for ‘Judge and Jury’.
Following the success of last summer’s hit ‘The Sun is Gonna Shine’, The Carnival Brothers are back with their brand new EP – ‘Deadliest Cuts’.
With the roar of the greasepaint and the smell of the crowd, Wolfman, Vegas and troupe once again bring their unique brand of Vaudeville charm to wow and entertain us.
Family trio, GREENSHINE, continue to gather fans and friends alike as they perform up and down the country. Christy Moore said of their album:
“This is a gorgeous album ~ the sound of a family immersed in music, tight in harmony, in love with song.” Now in a new development, Greenshine are delighted that one of Mary’s songs “Meet Me In The Garden” from the same recording, has now been featured in “Waterways”, a new short film made by actress and broadcaster turned film maker, Carrie Crowley. The film is to debut at The Galway Film Fleadh.
“It’s so lovely when the songs go out into the world and take on a life of their own,” says Mary. “That’s the best feeling the the world for a songwriter.”
