Electronic producer Dashoda (aka Gavin MacDermott) today announces that his debut EP Never Enough will be released on Wednesday 15th March, 2023 , a date that will be marked by a launch show at The Workman’s Cellar, Dublin with support from Jackie Beverly.
” Never Enough is inspired by the experience of avoidance and self-sabotage,” hints Dashoda of the upcoming EP’s themes, which will sit well with fans of The Blue Nile, Talking Heads and David Lynch movies as well as dedicated pop fans.
Dashoda supported one of Ireland’s hottest exports, 49th & Main, on their Irish tour just before the new year, selling out venues in Limerick and Dublin. Opening for the duo feels prophetic, setting up Dashoda as a fellow rising star.
Dashoda has proven himself an artist of irresistible electro pop stylings. He set the Irish airwaves alight with his last single, ‘Looking For You ’, which was featured as a RTÉ 2fm Track of the Week and received widespread airplay across the likes of Spin, iRadio, Red FM, 2fm, Beat, Spin South West and 98fm , to name a few.
Today, Dashoda releases a duet called ‘Sultan feat. Jackie Beverly ‘. Slower in tempo than the previous single and oozing sophistication, it’s perfect for adult contemporary stations and late night playlists.
