On Read is the first single from Sena Dee’s upcoming EP – ‘Songs About You’ (due May 2023). Sena spent two years in Ghana and during this time was heavily involved in the creative and music industry, many of his upcoming releases are collaborations or in some way linked to Ghana.
‘On Read’ blends together the excitement of the beginning of a relationship with the let down of being ‘left on read’. Produced by Ghanaian prodigy, Obed Otchere, the track also features a verse from Ghanaian music heavyweight $pacley.
Sena Dee is an alternative singer/songwriter & producer from Galway, Ireland.
Having spent his college years DJing locally and internationally in countries such France, Belgium, India and US he has completely reinvented himself and is excited to share this with the world.
After taking some time away from music to travel, it wasn’t until 2020 when Sena ventured back into the studio this time lending his vocals to a track. His unique sound is crafted from his experiences and adventures. Sena describes his sound as ‘alternative Singy-Singy Rap, if that is even a thing’. Among his inspirations he lists Bakar, Van Morrison, Loyle Carner, Thin Lizzy and J.Cole.
