Camden Recording Studios are planning something special for the eve of Record Store Day, Friday April 20th. In association with IMRO, Today FM, Music Maker and Dublin Vinyl, they are proud to present The Art of the Album, a daylong event celebrating some of their all-time favourite records. In an age of instant gratification, music streaming, downloading and play-listing, Camden Recording Studios want to celebrate what they love most about some of these timeless classics.
A limited number of guests will be able to join them in the plush surrounds of Camden Recording Studios and witness an exciting lineup of some of Ireland’s most talented artists as they pay homage to an array of industry giants by covering records on various albums they love. With interactive installations, plenty of great food and drink, exciting and brilliant live music, this is the perfect way to lead you in to Record Store Day.
Featuring live performances by Little Hours, Hudson Taylor, Loah & Bressie along with the Camden house band & a live radio broadcast by Fergal D’Arcy.
