Dublin Studio Hub Songwriting Camp | Windmill Lane Studios | 10th – 11th March |

Dublin Studio Hub announces their first major international songwriting weekend at the iconic Windmill Lane Recording studios in Dublin on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th March 2018.

This IMRO sponsored event will see leading song writers from Notting Hill Music Publishing, 23rd Precinct Music and Dublin Studio Hub gather for 2 days in Windmill Lane to write and record to world class briefs supplied by John Saunderson, A&R at Notting Hill Music.

With recording legends such as U2, The Rolling Stones, Sinead O’Connor and Nile Rodgers having recorded at Windmill Lane the entire facility, including studio 1, 2 and 3 will be made available to the writing teams providing wonderful inspirational spaces to write in.

Dublin Studio Hub will supply its top engineering and production talent including male and female session vocalists and members of The Big Noise, Windmill Lane’s House band, to assist with production duties at the camp. IMRO will be on hand over the course of the weekend to film interviews and to capture an insight into the creative processes.

Twelve songwriters will gather in groups of three for two sessions per day, over the course of the weekend each writer will work in all three studios. The in-house remix team ‘Trial and Error’ will occupy one of the production pods and remix a track of their choosing on day two.

Finally this jam packed camp will see the launch of the Dublin Studio Hub Top Line Academy. An initiative by the Hub and its publishing partners to share industry briefs and insights with aspiring student top line writers.

Billy Kiltie of 23rd Precinct music will field a question and answer session and a chance to network for the aspiring writers present.
