Australian-based Wexford artist Jennifer Nolan launches a six-month run of new music with her debut solo single,’SHAKIN’ marking the close of her twenties.

Originally from New Ross, County Wexford and now based in Adelaide, Nolan blends country, pop and folk influences with honest storytelling, feel-good melodies and the familiar ache of missing home.

To mark turning 29, Nolan will release a new track on the 29th of each month. The project serves as both a farewell to her twenties and a fresh statement of intent and expression.

With ‘SHAKIN’, Nolan delivers a confident modern country-pop track that pairs commercial appeal with genuine personality. Her powerful, distinctive vocal draws listeners in from the start, propelled by an infectious beat and melody that drive the track forward. Full of energy, momentum and polish, ‘SHAKIN’ makes a striking first impression for Nolan’s debut release.

The release of her debut track was marked with a music video filmed at Buddy’s Bar in Newtown, Sydney. The video features western-inspired dancers from Saddle Club and was directed by Emma Baggott of Framewave. Full of spirit and playful visuals, the video is the perfect pair for Nolan’s country-pop track.

Nolan added:

“I always want to make sure that the songs I write can be enjoyed by anyone in my extended family. From my granny, to my auntie, to my younger cousins.”

“Being creative is really important to me,” she adds It’s a muscle that can be strengthened & developed with exercise. You can let your creativity stay dormant or make an effort to keep it alive”

With five more songs still to come, Nolan is stepping confidently into an exciting new project.
