Versey is a Dublin-based rapper known for blending raw storytelling with melodic emotion and hard-edged lyricism. His music sits between rap and reflection, balancing sharp wit, vulnerability and real-life narrative.

With a growing catalogue of independent releases, Versey creates songs from lived experience rather than concept alone. His work explores relationships, personal accountability and the emotional contradictions of modern life.

Following the release of ‘Señorita’, Dublin rapper Versey returns with ‘Wish You Well’ an emotionally honest acoustic-led rap record featuring Crumlin singer-songwriter Bernard-M. This will be Versey’s second single from the forthcoming album Full Circle.

The upcoming album explores chapters of life, relationships, identity and personal growth through a mixture of storytelling records, high-energy tracks and emotionally reflective songs.

‘Wish You Well’ is built around heartfelt storytelling and a memorable melodic chorus, which explores the difficult space between heartbreak and healing. Rather than dwelling on resentment, the song follows the journey from shock and betrayal towards acceptance, recognising that sometimes the greatest act of growth is wishing someone happiness, even after they’ve walked away. Blending reflective lyricism with acoustic instrumentation, the record showcases a more vulnerable side of Versey while maintaining the authenticity that has become central to his music.

Versey’s new single will draw listeners in who appreciate emotionally driven hip-hop combining honest lyricism with memorable melodies.
