TroyOkay is an indie music collective based in Dublin, Ireland. Initially founded as a solo project by Troy Martin in 2021, the project has since expanded into a band featuring Fionn Maguire, Jack Ussher, Rachel Baum, Daniel Dennehy, Sean Crehan, and Troy Martin. Blending jazz, soul, hip-hop, and indie influences, TroyOkay has gained recognition for their genre-defying sound and electrifying live performances.

TroyOkay Releases New Single “Sunshine”
Dublin-based indie collective TroyOkay are set to release their new single “Sunshine” on October 17th, marking the second track from their highly anticipated debut EP Talkin…, due in 2026.
“Sunshine” draws deep inspiration from classic soul artists such as Darondo, Durand Jones & The Indications, and Thee Sacred Souls, while weaving in the indie-leaning textures of Mac DeMarco and King Krule. The result is a rich, genre-blurring sound that captures both timeless soul grooves and modern indie charm.
The single explores themes of longing, nostalgia, and compassion—reflecting on moments shared with someone no longer in your life, yet still wishing them the best. With its emotive lyrics and heartfelt delivery, “Sunshine” resonates as both personal and universal.
Recorded at Sonic Studios, Dublin, with producer Joe McGuirk, the track showcases the collective’s signature mix of instrumentation. Rachel Baum’s soulful saxophone lines intertwine seamlessly with Fionn Maguire’s classic soul-inspired drumming, anchoring the song in vintage warmth while maintaining TroyOkay’s distinctive, forward-looking edge.
