The Striped Verses Release New Single “Noise” on Motion Club Records – A Sonic Reflection on the Outside World and Local Life

August 30, 2024

In “NOISE,” The Striped Verses craft a sound that is both atmospheric and urgent, blending layered guitars with pulsating rhythms to create a sonic experience that resonates with listeners on a deep emotional level. The track captures the overwhelming barrage of information, distractions, and challenges of modern life, juxtaposed with the unique yet universal moments of life in small communities. The single is both a commentary on and a celebration of the “noise” that defines our existence.

Produced by Turps, the single features M-C-R guest guitarist Thomas Niland on the main riff with Turps on lead.

Lead singer and lyricist Conor O’Donnell describes the single as “a reflection on how we’re constantly bombarded by the external world—the news, social media, the hustle—and how it influences our local environments, our homes, and our personal lives. ‘Noise’ is about finding your voice amid the chaos and making sense of the world around you.”

The Striped Verses have consistently pushed the boundaries of indie rock, and “Noise” is no exception. With “Noise,” they continue to explore new sonic territories while remaining deeply connected to the everyday experiences that inspire their music.

The Striped Verses are currently negotiating with a global publishing company on a publishing / PR deal.

Noise is available on all major streaming platforms starting today, “Noise” offers a raw and captivating exploration of the chaotic interplay between the outside world and the local realities that shape our lives.
