The Sleepover Club’s End of Year Ball is a celebration of Irish music, featuring 14 acts across two stages at The Workman’s Club, with a side room open for illustrative artists. Now in its third year, it has become a key moment where the Dublin music scene gathers to discover the best acts to watch for the coming year.
The End of Year Ball is set to take place on December 27th 2024, 8pm – 2:30am in Dublin’s The Workman’s Club (Main Venue + Cellar).

What’s in Store for this Year
Indie Rock:
- Burglar: Dublin-based alt-rock band influenced by PJ Harvey and King Krule.
- and he, the fool: This group has been killing it over the last year with their live shows.
- Mac Steady: Brand new soulful, jazz band with a bright future ahead.
- Marmalee: Influenced by Sonic Youth, XTC, Nick Drake, and Joni Mitchell, her original songs capture a unique blend of emotional depth and evocative storytelling.
Hip-Hop:
- Ahmed, With Love: ‘The king of silliness’.
- Curtisy: Much like above, Curtisy has erupted this year after his debut album drop and touring all over Ireland and the UK.
- lowkick: Great alt, heavy beats and heartfelt lyrics.
Alternative Soundscapes:
- Alex Gough: Pushing the boundaries with his new stuff. Making bigger, more vast sounds.
- Late Snack: Jon Hopkins type electronic set.
- Saoirse Miller: A captivating live performance intertwining natural sounds with electronic elements, accentuated by her ethereal vocals.
- Rhoshi: An unfiltered expression of internal hyperactivity, industrial synth-driven sounds.
Visual arts room
- The VIP room in the cellar is open to display art and illustrations by local artists.
- Artists are doing live drawing here and artists have an opportunity to sell their merch.
- It’s a great place to explore if you want to connect with more visual artists. Combining musicians with photographers/illustrators.
