The Single Cells are childhood friends Ian and Tom. They’ve made music together for over 10 years and, for better or for worse, will always make music together… even if they want to kill each other.
Influences include Pavement, The Magnetic Fields, Guided by Voices, John Fahey, and many more they are audibly thieving from. Their lyrics are typically made up of observations from humorous occurrences in their daily lives, embellished with failed surrealistic attempts at “poetry”.
At the very least, they’re laughing. Hopefully you can laugh, too.
