The Saw Doctors share new single ahead of Main Stage performance at Electric Picnic
The Saw Doctors new single ‘Sound Sham’ is released today Friday on iTunes, on Spotify and all the streaming platforms.
‘Sound Sham’ was written by Leo Moran, Davy Carton and Padraig Stevens. It was recorded in Grouse Lodge Studios by Philip Tennant who produced the first Saw Doctors album ‘If This Is Rock ’n Roll, I Want My Old Job Back’.
The single is classic Saw Doctors, full of Tuam slang words like gomey (idiot), valentine slider (hairpiece), dust in his juke (cash in hand), sling him a lush ( buy him a drink). Tomorrow, Saturday 17th, the legendary Galway group will be performing at this year’s Electric Picnic festival in Stradbally Hall, Co. Laois. The Saw Doctors will play the Main Stage at Electric Picnic tomorrow night Saturday at 6pm —a one hour set.
