The Saw Doctors, who sold out Dublin’s Fairview Park and Cork’s Virgin Media Park last month, will release the first ever remix of one of their songs ‘Man in the Moon’ on Friday July 11th.

Producer Mark Reeder met The Saw Doctors in Berlin last month when they played the Lido club.

Mark loved the gig and after a chat back stage with Davy Carton and Leo Moran, he offered to do a remix of the track ‘Man in the Moon’ which was written by Davy, Leo and Padraig Stevens.

Mark was born and raised in Manchester, and co-found The Frantic Elevators with Mick Hucknall, prior to Hucknall forming Simply Red.

Reeder relocated to Berlin to run the German office for Factory Records (New Order, Joy Division, etc.) and subsequently turned his hand to DJing and producing for other artists including the Pet Shop Boys.

Speaking about the remix on Twitter/X, Mark said “I’m very proud my remix for the legendary Irish band, The Saw Doctors, is now available. Man in the Moon is a song with a strong message”

The Saw Doctors fly to the US next week for a coast to coast tour with gigs in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Cleveland and Boston Mass.

In August, The Saw Doctors will headline Irish shows at Limerick Docklands on August 15 and Letterkenny Summer Sessions on August 16.
