Thin Lizzy’s ‘Wild One’ is the latest release from Irish roots duo The Remedy Club. It’s a slowed down, haunting, melancholic take on the Philip Lynott classic and features Spanish guitar from McEvoy in place of the signature ‘Lizzy’ twin electric guitars with expressive, plaintive vocals from Mythen.
The single is released on Philip’s birthday 20th August and all funds raised will go towards Irish Cancer Society.
Thin Lizzy’s Scott Gorham described the recording as, “The most beautiful and haunting version of a Thin Lizzy song I have ever heard.”
