The IMRO Stage at INDIE22 | Pastiche

July 29, 2022

Dublin born and raised Pastiche brings you fresh pop music, with her infectious and unapologetically herself pop sound. Pastiche’s March ’22 single ‘Disco Junkie’ established her as Ireland’s fastest-rising pop star. With over 6 million impacts on this single alone, it entered the top 10 in the Breakers Chart upon release and stayed there for six consecutive weeks, peaking at no. 4 – an incredible feat for an independent artist.

Ireland’s answer to Dua Lipa and Charlie XCX meets Lady Gaga, Pastiche’s sound combines classic electronic pop, dark pop and a rebellious club kid sound mixed with her theatrical influences. Pastiche demands your attention with her lyrically and sonically unique tracks distinct to her recognisable pop sound full of sass, female empowerment energy and badass bass.

This weekend, Pastiche performs at Indiependence, taking to the IMRO Stage on Sunday. She told us all about what we can expect;

Is this your first time playing at INDIE?

YES! It’s actually my first ever  festival season as an artist so I am so lucky to have booked such amazing festivals this summer and am SUPER excited to play the IMRO stage and Indie this year!

When can people see you on the IMRO Stage?

People can catch me at 6.15pm on Sunday and you better believe its a show they are not going to want to miss.

What should we expect?

High energy, good fun, incredible pop music with lots of dancing and a sick outfit.

Which of the other acts are you hoping to catch live this weekend?

I’m buzzing to catch all my girls ; Bobbi Arlo, Sophie Doyle Ryder, Rachel Mae Hannon and of course Becky Hill.

What’s next for you?

I just released my Debut EP Freak Show Symphony EVERYWHERE! Stick in on in the car on the way to Indie to get you in the party mood! I also have a few more exciting gigs to play before the year is out, but I have to keep them to myself for now.

Make sure to catch Pastiche live at INDIE22, on Sunday July 31st at 6:15pm on the IMRO Stage.

INDIE22 takes place in Mitchelstown on the Bank Holiday Weekend of July 29-31.
