Cork band The Elation have announced they will release their debut EP ‘Clickbait’ this Spring on Top 6 Records.
The first single from the EP ‘XO’ is available to download and stream now.
Written by the band and recorded and produced in London, by Andy Whitmore, (who’s previous credits include Elton John, Terence Trent Darby, Eternal, Pet Shop Boys and more,) ‘XO’ is a song about becoming a little older and wiser and moving on from past regrets, relationships and bad experiences by choosing to let go of that chapter and start anew. Funky fast guitars, pulsating dancefloor synths to a drum and bass beat with vocal hooks that will anchor in your head for days.
The band will be touring to release the upcoming EP.
