Recorded and mixed at The Dreams Loft Studios, Co. Clare, “Gonna Make You Love Me” combines a driving rock n’ roll groove with searing lead guitar riffing that owes more than a debt to Chuck Berry and early-1970s Keith Richards, and finishes with a stripped-back boogie-woogie outro; the single’s B-side features an extended version of “Gonna Make You Love Me.”
Written and performed by Clare-based musician and song-writer, Dave Collins aka ‘The Texan Spitfires‘ the new track also features sought-after session player Adam Alesi who, among other accolades, is noted as the resident drummer for the Golden Globes Orchestra.
The Texan Spitfires’ “Gonna Make You Love Me” is now available via DistroKid across all major streaming platforms including Spotify, iTunes and YouTubeMusic and follows the successful 2025 release of the ‘Magical:Tragical’ album and also ‘The Nashville Tapes’ EP which was part-recorded in Nashville, Tennessee in May 2025.
Magical:Tragical’s ‘Sunny Side-Up’ was recently featured on BBC Radio Introducing and is also featured on the upcoming Goa Chillout Zone Vol.15 Compilation LP released under the WOA International label; previous Goa Chillout Zone compilations have consistently topped charts on Amazon and iTunes across multiple countries.
