Mia Black is a 17 (almost 18) year old singer and songwriter from County Monaghan, Ireland. She began her career by busking in Galway where her talent quickly drew attention, leading her social media to grow to an astounding 100,000 YouTube subscribers, and 15,000 monthly Spotify listeners. At the age of just 14, Mia starred in the Eirgrid national Tv advert about climate change. She has also recorded with YouTube’s most-followed American band ‘Boyce Avenue’ in their studio in Florida. Her performances on Dublin City Today YouTube have amassed almost 17 million views, with a social media presence of over 100 million views across platforms. This year Mia was honored as Shannonside Fm’s ‘New Local Hero’ and was a finalist in the 2024 Hotpress competition. Her debut album, ‘Map To My Heart’, is set to be released very soon.
