Soulful Songstress Eimear Crehan set to release new Single ‘A Little More Time’ August 23rd
Following the triumphant success of her sold-out headline tour, Eimear Crehan, the soulful songstress from Kildare, is set to show her progression once more with the release of her latest single, “A Little More Time“.
Building on the momentum of her previous releases, “A Little More Time” is a dynamic blend of rock energy and heartfelt lyrics that echo Eimear’s personal journey and breakthroughs in health and self-acceptance. This vibrant track, produced by John Leader, is more than just a song—it’s an anthem for anyone navigating personal challenges, serving as a powerful reminder of the importance of patience, self-kindness, and openness.
“A Little More Time” delves into themes of personal growth and resilience, resonating with listeners who may find themselves in the midst of their own struggles. “This song comes from deep within my story with health and body,” Eimear explains. “It’s designed to connect with anyone who’s facing personal challenges, emphasizing that sometimes, all we need is a bit more time, patience, and self-kindness to overcome. It also explores the healing power of openness, moving away from the shadows of secrecy.”
With extensive recording and performing experience, including tours with Paul Brady and support for renowned artists like Jack L, Mary Coughlan, and Mike Hanrahan, Eimear has carved out a unique niche in the music industry. Her previous single, “I am Woman,” soared to number 1 on the iTunes charts and amassed over 200k total streams on Spotify, showcasing her ability to deeply connect with listeners through her soulful blend of folk and soul.
Eimear’s dedication to music extends beyond her own performances. She actively engages with her community through initiatives like the SpeakUp Sing Out Music School, fostering creativity and personal development through music.
The release of “A Little More Time” marks the next exciting chapter in Eimear’s illustrious career. Accompanied by a powerful music video directed by Jamie Crehan, the single promises to inspire and energize, highlighting the inner strength within us all.
‘Sit back and take in the voice and presence that is Eimear’ – Jack L
‘I’ve had Eimear support me for the last three years… She is extremely talented. Her musical versatility is matched only by her commitment to bringing music to community’ – Mary Coughlan
After years of singing funk and rock, and performing at festivals like Electric Picnic, and Oxegen, Eimear went on to release a solo album ’SCARS’ in Nov 2018, followed by her second album Quiver in March 2022, which was launched to a sold out Sugar Club in Dublin. She is working on her third album and released the first track from this in March 2023 and this went to No. 1 in the Irish Charts. She has a new track out in March 2024 and the rest of the album will follow later this year.
Eimears music is a beautiful mix of songs about love, life and the human condition. Her soulful voice tells these stories so well – her voice carries lots of emotion and takes listeners on a journey. Eimears vocals have been compared to Adele, Alison Moyet, Cyndi Lauper and Mary Coughlan. There is nothing she likes more than to connect with her audience and take listeners with her as she so honestly and beautifully sings these songs about what it means to be alive.
