Soft Guts have announced the first of it’s 2026 song camp dates, sponsored this year by IMRO. The camps will take place at the award winning Analogue Catalogue Residential Recording Studios in the heart of the Rathfriland countryside, a stunning and excellently equipped venue at which albums have been recorded by artists such as King Creosote, Lankum, Fionn Regan, The
Vaselines and Duke Special.

The Soft Gut Song Camp is a high quality initiative designed to unlock the collaborative potential of artists, songwriters and producers, hosted by Nikki MacRae and Ciaran Lavery since 2021. It is an opportunity for music creators from all backgrounds to work alongside new creative partners, to forge new relationships and to promote a unified and exciting community. The song camp is not only be a living embodiment of the collaborative potential of music creators, but it also offers more holistic elements to best maximise the impact upon the artists careers, such as mentoring and skill gap discussions.

Soft Gut is the premier song camp in the north of Ireland and has been attended by music creators such as 1000 Beasts, AOIBHA, Gemma Bradley, Roe and Chipzel. Since welcoming applications from songwriters and producers worldwide Soft Gut has had
attendees from Poland, Canada, Germany, Italy and across the UK.

The first camp of 2026 will run from 19-21 September. Applications are now open.
