Marie Crehan is a singer/songwriter/poet based in Mount Bellew in Galway. Her father Brian Crehan was a well known traditional singer and had a ceilidh band, so Marie absorbed traditional music as part of everyday Homelife. She spent some time in Somerset where she ran the Bombadil Folk Club and also Green Door Promotions.
