Singer-songwriter Kuara returns with her new soul filled single ‘Falling, still‘ which features the lyrical charms of Jamel Franklin.

Brazilian born Kuara, who now lives in Dublin, first hit the Irish music scene last year with her song ‘Brand New Day’ which received rave reviews for its entrancing summer vibe.

Kuara, who is from Sao Paulo, likes to blend her afro-Brazilian and indigenous roots with R&B, soul, dance and rap. Her name, meaning ‘Sun’ in Tupi Guarani, reflects the passion and energy in her music.

Now based in Dublin, Kuara has become a well-known face on the Irish music circuit and has played venues including The Workman’s Club and The Grand Social.

Speaking about her new single ‘Falling, still’, which is out now, the Sao Paulo native, said it’s a love song which centres on what it means to fall for someone on a deeper level, she said: “Love today can feel so surface-level with how fast everything moves, and I wanted this song to be a reminder of something deeper.

“The song is about rediscovering love, real, grounding love, after a period of doubt or heartbreak. It’s that moment when someone comes into your life and changes how you see everything. The lyrics reflect a mix of vulnerability, clarity, and deep connection.”

She added: “It’s not just about romance, but about finding home in another person.”

‘Falling, still’ is currently available on all music platforms.
