The Radioactive Grandma announce Tour Dates

TRG White ProfilerEarning their place among Ireland’s prominent unsigned artists with their alternative, acoustic Indie sound, an award winning album and celebrated video releases. The Co.Cavan based trio take a break from recording the follow up L.P to their self titled debut album and announce a string of tour dates around Ireland.

Following the release of Robot Song in February 2014, the band hit the studio under the guide of lead vocalist & producer Johno Leader and emerged this week with an exciting preview of what is to come.  Mastered by Fergal Davies (Muse, Le Galaxie) & taken from their forthcoming L.P. Dublin City Fm gave brand new track ‘Oddysee’ it’s debut airplay.  Fret not if you missed it, a summer full of live shows lie ahead to check out the highly anticipated new material.

Gigs kick off this week with an intimate show in Boyles of Slane, this Thursday 8th, while on Sunday 11th May, The Radioactive Grandma make a welcome return to Galway since supporting Steve Cradock (Ocean Colour Scene/Paul Weller) earlier this year & are set to join Dublin Punk/Ska outfit Chewing On Tinfoil at Roisin Dubh’s brand new weekly ‘ALIVE’ sessions hosted by Tommy Concannon of Galway rock band Ka Tet.

Further dates include McKenna’s, Monaghan on the 15th and on to Lynch’s Motor Bar, Trim, joining local artists Run From The Cure on Saturday 17th with a much welcomed return to Cork’s Crane Lane Theatre billed for Wednesday 21st.

FSTV Present The Radioactive Grandma and Gypsy Rebel Rabble on Saturday 24th in Kavanaghs, Port Laoise, while Sunday 25th brings the first of a string of Summer Festival dates for the band at Life Festival, Mullingar.
