Dublin indie rockers Post-Party return with catchy, hook infested single.

The single’s release follows an industrious 2024, driven by a wall-to-wall UK & Ireland tour including a sold-out hometown show in Dublin’s Button Factory & glaring festival appearances.

About That’s What I Call Living:
Shrouded in catchy ear worms, and surrounded by a new, more calloused sound – That’s What I Call Living is a track inspired by an extensive period of writing after Post-Party’s busy 2024 touring schedule.

Refusing to let up the hook-driven pop sound that the band are known for to date, the single deas with the agglutination of modern living with an irony, a wit and the fly-on-wall view points the band have demonstrated across their previous releases.

Lead singer Keelan O’Reilly delivers the Richard Ashcroft-esque observations with a frustrated mania atop the rhythm section of Luke Kavanagh and Tom Moran, who settle into a biting groove. The sheer & razor-like lead guitar from Matthew O’ Reilly serves to tie tamed chaos together as one.

About Post-Party:
Formed in 2018, Post-Party are an Indie Rock outfit from Ireland that started when band members Matthew & Keelan – who coincidentally share middle & last names – met in college after a roll call confusion ensued during class.

Rooting their sound in the turn of the centuries new rock revival embellished with the sounds of 80s New Waves and Indie, Post-Party seek to recite tales of their youth and juvenescence with an eye towards the state of things to come.

With regular airplay, 1 million + Spotify streams and counting, heavyweight Spotify playlisting & DJ support both at home and abroad, the band have cut their teeth supporting the likes of Blossoms, Inhaler, & Miles Kane.

With consistent self-produced output, they teamed up with renowned Irish hit producer Philip Magee during lockdown to work on a number of tracks which would form their debut EP, ‘We’re Not Getting Any Younger‘, which reached a number three chart position. While strong melodies, ear-worm riffs & the tight rhythm section remains, the lyrics explore a deeper level & darker territory than that of their previous tracks.
