Today, Novatone share the video for ‘Remembrance Day’ their current single and their 3rd release of the year. Novatone is fronted by Kilkenny natives Ann Marie Walsh & Mark McCorry, who live now on the Wicklow/Wexford border.
Written in memory of Ann Marie’s parents who died when she was a child, ‘Remembrance Day’ was released on 16th October. Explaining the theme of the video, Ann Marie says “We wanted to capture the nostalgia and longing of a child and the memories of childhood days spent in nature, in the warmth of what seemed like endless summers and in the love of parents who have long gone”.
Novatone will travel to County Cork to support Mundy in the stunning environs of Sea Church, Ballycotton on Friday 28th November. Doors open 7.30pm. Tickets on sale now here. This will top off a year where they played gigs across Ireland including Whelan’s Dublin, Cleere’s Kilkenny and Record Room Limerick.
