Derry guitarist Paul Casey has released the new single ‘When I Fell In Love With You’ on all digital platforms.
Written and produced by the Derry musician at his Cable Junction Studio, it’s “a song about the joy of love.”
The track features Liam Bradley (drums), John McCullough (piano), and Damien McGeehan (fiddle) alongside Casey’s melodic guitar licks and electric solos.
A modern love song, Casey’s candid lyrics are ever-present, with the opening, “You were my only friend”, posing more questions than answers from the off.
More recently, Casey filmed and directed the acclaimed ‘In The Days Before Rock ‘N’ Roll’ video as part of Hot Press’ ‘Rave On, Van Morrison!’ initiative.
The beautifully shot mini-film features Casey on guitar, vocal and production duties, along with the legendary Terry Hooley and an all-star cast of musicians and radio presenters.
