Singer-songwriter Elena Duff’s third release is a response to the negative emotions that life in lockdown often brings with it.
‘Endless Blue’ is about the seemingly never-ending Groundhog Days of Covid and the sadness of isolation from normal life and interactions. This song is long and slow in tempo, mimicking the slow passing of days, weeks and months as we wait for life to normalise again. While melancholic in tone the song however ends on a lyrical positive note and reminds us that ‘it’s just a patch of stormy weather’ and that this too shall pass.
The song can be purchased on all the usual outlets including Bandcamp https://elenaduff.bandcamp.com/track/endless-blue
