‘Where The Wildbirds Sleep’ is the new single by Vickers Vimy.
It is a song about the imprint of loss, and the search for the enduring beauty of the Wild Birds’ song as an expression of hope and resilience. Working on their own tail winds, Ed and Fintan lovingly crafted the song over the Summer of 2021.
The band, arranged, engineered, recorded and produced the single themselves in Eamonn’s home studio in Mayo as Covid restrictions were gently eased in December 2021.
