Gavin Murphy has today announced the release of his new single ‘Alive’.
Speaking about the new single Gavin says, “To witness the sunrise at dawn is a beautiful heart-warming experience. Appreciating the simple pleasures in life and reflecting upon good memories, can help us through difficult times.”
The new single will be released on Friday, 25th June 2021.
His previous single ‘The Sound of Heartbreak’ was playlisted on RTÉ Radio 1.
In June 2020 Gavin’s debut album ‘45 RPM (Replay Past Memories)’ was made RTÉ Radio 1 Album of the Week.
Living on Ireland’s north-west coast, Gavin Murphy hails from Dublin’s North Side. His debut album ‘45 RPM (Replay Past Memories)’ was recorded and produced by Gavin in his home studio in Sligo.
Working with Gavin on his new single was producer Ger McDonnell (U2, Def Leppard) along with Robbie Malone (David Gray) on bass and Paul Byrne on drums and Saoirse Kavanagh on backing vocals.
