A Singer Songwriter, recording artist & IRMA Award nominee, Fiona’s latest Weatherman is the follow-up to her last very successful release All Together Now, which entered the RTÉ Radio 1 Recommends List and reached no.5 in the airplay charts over the summer. Her distinctive voice and songwriting brought her to the attention of leading presenters such as John Creedon and Ronan Collins.
Weatherman is produced by Christian Best (Mick Flannery) and showcases the Cork singer songwriter’s gospel/funk side which is very evident in her many live performances. The song is taken from her next upcoming album, due out in early 2023. “ Weatherman started out as a country-type song but when I listened back to my initial recording of it, I knew I was holding back in my studio performance.. Christian encouraged me to do a completely new take & I knew then that this was going to be my next single!”
A summer season of live shows included a sell-out concert in Camden Fort Meagher with singer Anna Mitchell & The Whitehorse Ballincollig with a nationwide tour planned to coincide with her new album release.
